5 Secrets To A Killer Beach Body

So you been busting your ass for months to look like a greek god...

As summer hits its peak, comes the time of year again to show off all your hard work spent in the gym. With these simple tricks, your new beach body will be the envy of all and will earn you some serious stares.

Secret #1: Say Goodbye to Carbs (Temporarily)

Oh nooo! My carbs… Yes we know you love rice and pasta , but it’s only for a few days a week. A little sacrifice goes a long way. Carb cycling is a secret used by many great bodybuilders of our time.

On some days, it’s recommended you eat little or no carbs. And at least on workout days you can eat plenty of carbs to refuel your body. It makes a huge difference if your body can’t rely on carbohydrates for energy, that’s when it will start to burn fat. Instead, increase your
protein intake and eat more  protein (such as steak, poultry, fish, legumes, and eggs) and veggies. You’ll probably feel hungrier, so structure your diet to eat up to 6 mini-meals a day.

Secret #2: Muscle Confusion… Huh?

Ever wonder why you been spending hours in the gym and not seeing the results?

Well you’re in luck: the secret is muscle confusion. Our body is designed to endure crazy amounts of pain. Changing your training to shock the body in intervals, forces it to adapt and get stronger. We recommend changing your routine every 30 to 60 days to avoid hitting a plateau and consistently see gains and better results. The more intense and extreme your workouts the higher chance you will ignite more muscle growth and build a much stronger physique.

Secret #3: Get Plenty of Sleep… Muscle ISN’T Only Made In The Gym

If you want to speed up your metabolism, get at least six to eight hours of rest. Your body restores itself during sleep, ensuring all food is processed as quickly and efficiently as possible. Muscle growth and recovery happens overnight, so it operates at peak capacity the following day. If this secret is overlooked, your beach body cannot properly repair itself.

Secret #4: Drink Water- And Plenty Of It!

Keeping your body hydrated is a key component to a killer physique. During intense workouts the body requires water to replenish itself and keep performance at its peak. Water helps energize the muscle and reduce fatigue. We recommend drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day. Water is essential to keep the body looking strong and your skin healthy.

Secret #5: Reduce Your Stress And Enjoy The Sweeter Things In Life

If you’re not losing fat as quickly as expected, we know often enough you start looking for holes in your  training or diet. Pretty obvious stuff, right? Don’t worry getting that beach body takes time.

But there’s something else that can dramatically — and we mean DRAMATICALLY — affect your muscle-building and fat-burning progress: the culprit stress. Scientifically speaking high levels of cortisol is released during stressful times and can be detrimental to your progress. Dude, it’s OK to take a breather once a awhile and away from your daily problems. What to do? We recommend taking a beautiful girl out on a walk. What could be better than that? After all, your hard work should pay off in the end… right ?
